Zusammenfassung
Der vorliegende Fallbericht zeigt die Therapie und das Behandlungsergebnis eines jugendlichen
Patienten mit Agenesie der oberen seitlichen Schneidezähne. Der 14 Jahre alte, männliche
Patient wies eine dentale Klasse-I-Malokklusion mit milder skelettaler Klasse III
und vertikalem Wachstumsmuster auf. Der Behandlungsplan sah einen Lückenschluss im
Oberkiefer und den Ersatz der seitlichen Schneidezähne durch die Eckzähne vor. Im
Anschluss an die kieferorthopädische Behandlung war eine prothetische Umgestaltung
der oberen Eckzähne und der ersten oberen Prämolaren geplant.
Abstract
This article introduces the therapy and the treatment result of an adolescent patient
with missing maxillary lateral incisors. The male patient with 14 years of age showed
a dental Class I malocclusion with a mild skeletal Class III tendency and a vertical
growth pattern. The main goal of treatment was a gap closure in the upper jaw and
the replacement of the lateral incisors by the canines. Due to a better appearance,
it was planned to reshape the canines and the first premolars after orthodontic treatment.
